Our Values

Olive Branch Nutrition is committed to increasing access to nutrition care for individuals who experience financial barriers or financial instability.

Access to healthcare is not evenly distributed and is largely influenced by a variety of socioeconomic factors and ongoing systemic racism. A social justice–informed sliding scale is one way we aim to reduce barriers to care while maintaining a sustainable practice.

We also recognize that individuals in larger bodies and from historically marginalized communities (including, but not limited to, people of color, indigenous people, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, and everyone impacted by chronic underinvestment or discrimination) are disproportionately affected by barriers to nutrition and health care as well as eating disorder/disordered eating identification, diagnosis, and treatment.

We strive to reduce (and ultimately remove) these barriers and offer services with respect, dignity, and transparency, recognizing that clients are the experts on their own circumstances.

As part of our commitment to artists, creators, experts in their respective fields, and the environment, Olive Branch Nutrition does not use AI/ChatGPT in our work.

Sliding Scale Availability

Sliding scale spots are limited and reviewed quarterly or as circumstances change.

Sliding Scale Rates are negotiable and determined in-session, collaboratively.

Olive Branch Nutrition does not require proof of income to justify a sliding scale rate. Clients are trusted to select a fee that reflects their true financial circumstances, as sliding scale spots are limited and intended for those experiencing financial barriers.
