Nutrition counseling

Initial Nutrition Session | 60 Minutes

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know you, understand what’s been going on with food and nutrition, and figure out where you’d like support.

We’ll talk about your nutrition and health history, your current eating patterns, your relationship with food, and what brought you in. Depending on what you’re experiencing, we may also talk through things like meal patterns, food fears, binge eating, emotional eating, medical concerns, medications, challenges, etc., that are making it difficult to eat in a way that feels good for you.

From there, we’ll start making sense of what you’re experiencing and identify where nutrition support could be most helpful. We may work through a specific challenge, answer nutrition/food questions, practice a skill, make a plan for the week ahead, or simply start by building a better understanding of what your body and needs are telling us.

There’s no set agenda for every initial session. Your care is shaped around you, what you’re dealing with right now, and what feels most helpful. My role is to bring my clinical knowledge and experience while working with you to find practical approaches that can actually fit into your life.

There's no perfect starting point, and you don't need to have everything figured out before you come in.

Moving forward

Follow-up sessions | 30 Minutes

Nutrition doesn't happen in a vacuum. Follow-up sessions give us space to check in, make adjustments, and work through what's coming up in real life.

We'll talk through what's feeling manageable, what's feeling hard, and what may need to change. Follow-up sessions are a place to troubleshoot without judgment, celebrate progress, and keep building an approach to nutrition that feels supportive, realistic, and sustainable.

We'll:

  • Check in on how things have been going

  • Talk through what's working and celebrate progress, even when it feels small

  • Troubleshoot challenges and barriers

  • Adjust your plan as your needs change

  • Keep building practical strategies that work for your life

Follow-ups can be weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed. No packages or long-term commitments required.

Practical nutrition support

Sometimes you don't need more information.
You need support putting that information into practice.

Meal Support | 30 Minutes

Sometimes eating feels easier with someone by your side.

Meal support provides encouragement and accountability while giving you space to work through food anxiety, uncertainty, or difficult moments in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

This can be especially helpful when eating feels overwhelming or you're working toward more consistent and flexible eating.

Grocery + Meal Planning Support

Take some of the stress out of figuring out what to buy and eat.

We'll work together to plan simple, realistic meals that fit your schedule, preferences, budget, and nutrition needs, without turning your grocery list into another set of rules to follow.

Cooking Lessons

Build confidence in the kitchen with practical, hands-on support.

We'll work on simple, nourishing meals and snacks while incorporating gentle nutrition. Whether you're comfortable in the kitchen or don't know where to start, we'll meet you where you are.

“Lindsay is a wealth of knowledge and re-shaped the way I think about meal planning and preparation. Her comfort around discussing eating disorder-related considerations that come up when talking about food was incredibly helpful, and I highly recommend her services”

Recovery + ongoing support

Recovery isn't always a straight path.

These sessions provide additional support during eating disorder recovery or post-recovery, whether you need a place to check in, work through a difficult stretch, or stay connected to the goals you've worked hard to build.

We'll focus on where you are now and what support would be most helpful

Sliding Scale
I offer a limited number of sliding-scale sessions for individuals experiencing financial barriers to care. Rates are determined together based on your circumstances; no proof of income is required.
